ANHYDROUS SODIUM ACETATE SYNTHESIS
Just making sodium ethanoate, more commonly known as sodium acetate. I just add baking soda to vinegar and make water, CO2, and sodium acetate. Then recrystallize, filter and wash. This experiment is done on TV in a lot of sitcoms and is done to mimic a volcano.........the volcano experiment.
