इस कहानी के बारे में :
यह कहानी एक महारज की है , एक बार महाराज और उनके मंत्री जंगल जाते है तभी उन्हे प्यास लगी और पानी के तलाश करते करते जंगल के भीतर एक तालाब के पास पहुंचे । वही पर एक चिल एक सर्प को नोच नोच कर घायल कर दिया था , उसे देख महाराज ने उस चिल को भगाकर उस सर्प के जख्मो पर औषधी लगाया तभी वह सर्प एक इन्शानी रूप धारण कर लेता है । महाराज के मदत के बदले मे नागराज उन्हे एक नागमनी का टुकडा दिया जिससे महाराज काफी धनवान हो गये । इसे देख मंत्री और उनके पुत्र महाराज से जलने लगे । फिए एक रोज मंत्री और उसका पुत्र मिलकर राजकुमार को मार देते है और नागमनी को प्राप्त करने के लिए महारज को बंदी बनाकर जंगल ले जाते है लेकिन महारज उस नागमणी को कही पूछा दिया था । नागमणी के ना मिलने पर मंत्री और उसका पुत्र महाराज को मार मार कर अदमरा कर देते है और उन्हे मरा हुआ समझकर खाई मे फेक देते है ।तभी एक लकड़हारे की नजर महाराज पर पड़ी । वह उसे अपना घर ले गया । महारज से पूछने पर महाराज ने सारी बात उस लकड़हारे को बताया । महारज पुरी तरह से चोटिल था जिससे वह होने जगह से हिल नही पा रहे थे । तब महार ने उस लकड़हारे से नागमनी लाने के लिए कहते है । लेकिन लकड़हरे को वह नागमणी इतनी आसानी से नही मिलती इसके लिए उसे कठिन चुनौतियों का सामना पड़ता है । कहानी थोड़ा लम्बा है लेकिन दिलचस्प है कही पर बोरिंग नही लगेगा |

About this story :
This story is of a king. Once the king and his minister went to the jungle. They felt thirsty and while searching for water they reached a pond inside the jungle. There a kite had injured a snake by scratching it. Seeing this the king chased away the kite and applied medicine on the snake's wounds. Then the snake assumed a human form. In return for the king's help the king's king gave him a piece of Nagamani which made the king very rich. Seeing this the minister and his son became jealous of the king. Then one day the minister and his son together kill the prince and to get the Nagamani they take the king captive to the jungle but the king had hidden the Nagamani somewhere. When the Nagamani was not found the minister and his son beat the king to death and thinking him dead they throw him in a ditch. Then a woodcutter's eyes fell on the king. He took him to his house. When Maharaj asked, Maharaj told the whole thing to the woodcutter. Maharaj was completely injured due to which he was not able to move from his place. Then Mahar asked the woodcutter to bring the Nagamani. But the woodcutter does not get the Nagamani so easily, for this he has to face difficult challenges. The story is a bit long but it is interesting, it will not seem boring anywhere.
