Founded in 1974 as the world’s first stem cell register, we’re motivated by Shirley Nolan's determination to save her son, Anthony.

Almost 50 years later, three people a day are now given a second chance of life, thanks to generous funders and an evergrowing stem cell register. Our charity is a lifesaving legacy.

By recruiting potential donors, funding and undertaking groundbreaking research, and providing the best posttransplant care from our clinical nurses, we can cure people’s blood cancer together.
