Hello friends in this video we make anthranilic acid from phthalimide using the hoffman rearrangement reaction

Stuff that you need for the preparation

Phthalimide 12g
Sodium hydroxide 26g
Liquid Bromine 4.2ml
(since my bromine had water in it I used around 10ml)
Conc. HCl 30ml
Glacial acetic Acid 12ml

Now that I have anthranilic acid I am planning to make Methyl anthranilate the artificial grape flavoring and also to make methyl red indicator
