This week we are antique picking in a hotel packed with lure and tackle collectors at the NFLCC National Meeting.

This year ol' Retro attended the National Fishing Lure Collectors Club (NFLCC) National Meeting in Springfield, Illinois. This even draws antique fishing tackle enthusiasts from around the country, and is a great place to meet fellow collectors, see priceless tackle collections, and get some great deals on vintage fishing lures and tackle.

Night one, Retro followed Bassin' Bud Mark Ing around the hotel for some room trading, where NFLCC members open up their hotel rooms to display and sell bass fishing tackle and memorabilia. This is a great chance to learn about specific lures companies and lure designers, and also get some great deals on vintage lures.

Tune in to see Retro go picking for old school lures from Smithwick, Cotton Cordell, Tom Mann, C.A. Clark, Bassoreno, Lazy Ike, Heddon, Fred Arbogast, and more! He also finds a wild millsite lures called the Daily Double that can catch bass in both directions!

The National Fishing Lure Collectors Club (NFLCC) is a nonprofit, educational, international organization founded in 1976. The primary objectives of the NFLCC are to foster an awareness of fishing tackle collecting as a hobby and to assist members in the location, identification, and trading of vintage fishingrelated equipment.
