I hiked from Trimpi Shelter to Wise Shelter, the only Shelter in the Grayson Highlands. The change in scenery was noticeable the spruce and fir trees. I was on pony watch for a while, but didn't see any as I got close to Wise Shelter. I ended my day with a nice fire on a cold night.
