The California Department of Industrial Relations (DIR) and its Division of Apprenticeship Standards (DAS) is pleased to announce the second round of Apprenticeship Innovation Funding (AIF). This funding makes $75 million available for FY 2023 – 2024 to support new or existing apprenticeship program sponsors associated with the Interagency Advisory Committee on Apprenticeships (IACA). These sectors include healthcare, transportation, education, advanced manufacturing, information technology, and every sector outside the building and fire trades. In this session, DAS provides an overview of the AIF structure and walks through the application steps.
