‪@redtailfanschool‬ In this video I demonstrate a system that uses apps script to get the URL of a file from a drive folder when all we have is part of the file name. We know how every file is named so we can just use a student name to find the file and paste the URL into the google sheet.

Then we use the Doc URL to be able to get sections of the document and write it to a description field in different parts of a google form. This saves teachers hours of time copying and pasting data from the doc to the form.

This is all part of a system that builds education plans and ties them to a work sample system that is used to upload student work samples for teachers to evaluate student progress based on their Education Plans.
