For PI2, we've completed laserwelding the battery modules, are continuing highvoltage integration testing, and have the chassis and suspension in production. Aptera keep making big mile stones on its production intent Vehicles which
are the vehicles used for validation and testing of the production design. Earlier
this month Aptera shared the latest on its battery module validation. Tim Vaughan reported that the battery modules pass accelerated life cycle testing on the
shock table at a local laboratory and since then this startup has assembled the rest of
the modules and completed laser welding for PI 2.

So what’s the difference between PI 1 and PI 2. PI 1 is our wire harness test mule used for fitment validation and cable measurements while PI 2 will be the first of a series of driving Vehicles. Moving forward, most of the progress that you'll see today will be for PI 2 which Aptera is excited to begin testing in real world location soon.
