Esri ArcGIS Story Maps allows the user to turn data into a data story. This frames your discovery with adventure, information, call to action, and intrigue. Using GIS to discover new information through geospatial data analysis is a great advantage to your business. But if you can then take that discovery out of GIS and create a story map you can communicate it to your ideal customer. Many times that customer is either a coworker or the public. Story maps are a powerful tool but if you confuse your reader your message may be lost. This week I review an Esri story map to see how well they communicate their data story.
