If you inject insulin (or other injectables such as Victoza, or Ozempic) using an insulin pen you need pen needles, and unfortunately, they can be expensive.
I’ve been getting the 4 mm BD Nano needles for years using my insurance but the copay kept climbing so I decided to look into a cheaper pen needle option.
This is my experience, and my take, on whether cheaper pen needles are a good option for people living with diabetes?
