In this workshop, we interview a top Oxford scientist on the possibility of using flozins, a drug already used to treat diabetics, for Alport patients. Early results are encouraging: but are they really safe and effective? We also address how easy it might be to learn more about the drugs: how do you test medication when Alport syndrome is so rare?
