There's a lot of complex weights to understand when towing, and one of the lesserknown ones is the rear axle load. The problem is that every kilogram of towball mass is more than one kilogram of extra weight on the rear axle, so the rear axle limit is quickly reached.

Confused? Watch the video. And yes I'm sorry this is all complex but there's a lot to towing weights, and when we have caravan makers understating weights, and carmakers overstating towing capacity then unfortunately you are caught in the middle.
