THE GAME:
ROBLOX is the true metaverse. Anyone can make games (called “experiences” for legal reasons), and with this great power comes a sea of unplayable refuse. However, If you swim in the sea long enough, you’re bound to find some pearls. ROBLOX has been around for as long as I’ve been a gamer, and there are some classic games that truly stand out. Armored Patrol is one of them. It’s been rolling since 2009, and there are plans for a second version to be released this year. The game provides a wide array of infantry tools and weapons, armored vehicles, and two types of helicopters to be used to dominate three capture zones and acquire points. War Thunder? Trash. DCS? Pales in comparison to the depth of Armored Patrol’s gameplay. This one occupies a firm place as one of the longest lasting games of my childhood.
