Hey, this base is built on Valguero on the edge of the swamps near the Green Obelisk.
This build was originally going to be a Sarco pen, but after I built the enclosed water pen I decided to add a crafting workshop and the base grew from there.
The swamps on Ark are pretty dangerous so I built the base out of metal to avoid a lot of repairs, I still wanted some greenhouse glass sections so I used metal railings to protect the greenhouse walls in places.

The foundations are built on a rock ledge on the edge of the lake, it is deep enough to swim Sarcosuchus right inside and makes a good water pen for amphibians, Baryonyx and Kaprosuchus.
I incorporated Industrial Forges and a Tek replicator into the build, I built a Quetz landing pad over the water to make it easy to bring in metal and other resources.
I think the modern Military design looks good against the primordial Swamp background, like something built to tame the wilds and overcome the harsh environment.

This base is built with clip active, no mods were used so it can be built on unofficial Ark Survival Evolved Xbox One, PS4 and PC servers.
