ARRIVING LUXEMBOURG AFTER CONDITIONAL OFFER OF ADMISSION FROM THE UNIVERSITY OF LUXEMBURG ( STEPS)

This video clearly outlined the next steps after a conditional offer of admission from the University of Luxembourg.

The summary of the next steps is as follows:
(1) Application for the temporary authorisation to stay in the Ministry
of Foreign and European Affairs – Immigration Directorate not later than 1st July.
(2) As soon as you receive your authorisation to stay, you must, from your home country, send an application to the Luxembourg Ministry of Higher Education and Research to register your higher education diploma, allowing you to access Master's Degree studies in the Register of Certificates not later than 15th September.
(3) Apply for your visa D, which you need to enter Luxembourg or the Schengen areas.
(4) Final registration at the University of Luxembourg upon arrival to Luxembourg
(5) Registration at the commune is within 3 days of arrival in Luxembourg.
(6) Undergoing medical examination at the Government clinic within 3 days of arrival in Luxembourg.
(7) Application for resident permit within 3 months of arrival to Luxembourg.

NOTE: It is mandatory to attach to your application for the registration of your higher education diploma allowing you to access Master's Degree studies in the Register of Certificates copy of the authorisation to stay that you have received from the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs Immigration Department Source: University of Luxemburg.
