I am so excited to welcome you into my home and show you how I set up my full acrylic and oil painting art practice in less than 100 square feet! In this cozy, minimalist, boho space, I'm able to paint, draw, film, teach, and run my business. I absolutely LOVE working in this little room that takes its cues from both Scandinavian hygge and IKEA's clean lines, and I'm so excited to begin filming at home once again. This video will also show you that you don't need a huge budget to get set up at home...with a little creativity and resourcefulness, you'll find everything you need secondhand, or even from discard bins at Home Depot. The most important thing is to just feel good in your space, and remember; when in doubt, insert a plant!

I started with this kit when I was first starting with oils, and while I do prefer the smaller limited palette with the same colours as my acrylics (with quinacridone red instead of alizarine crimson), this is a great kit that offers you the opportunity to test out some oil colours. If you do decide to continue with your oil practice, consider stocking up on larger sizes of better quality of core colours.
