While I believe that no software emulation will ever capture every single detail and nuance of the original hardware, Arturia has a done a great job with this virtual synth, paying homage to the original Oberheim OBXa. With the additional features, modulation, and array of quite superb digital effects that the Arturia OBXa has to offer, this instrument has become a goto synth in my digital arsenal. Similar to Sequential's new "vintage knob," the Arturia OBXa has controls under the hood to give variation to each voice, including pitch, filter envelope, filter cutoff, and more.

You must own the Arturia OBXa to use these patches.
