This is ASMR, the sound of rain at Gyeongbokgung Palace. Gyeongbokgung Palace in the rain shows a wonderful scenery. The raindrops falling down the eaves make various sounds, and the regular sound in the quiet makes you feel at ease. Inside the palace of the Joseon Dynasty in Korea, there are administrative facilities and living spaces for the king and officials.

The place where this video was filmed is the narrow gate leading to Heumgyeonggak and Hamwonjeon. Hamwonjeon was the place where the statue of Buddha was enshrined during the reign of King Sejong the Great. Perhaps it was a space where the royal family, tired of politics, prayed for peace of mind.

During the Joseon Dynasty, when it rained, the royal family would sleep or study listening to the sound of rain, right?
