Sergio Valasquez works in Professor Nick Read's lab at the University of Manchester studying how Aspergillus fumigatus adapts to overcome the attack of caspofungin, a commonly used antifungal drug. This research provide will provide new insights into how the design of novel antifungal drugs might be improved.
