In 2023, The Windward School hosted the LD Schools Leadership Retreat with educators from across the country. At the end of twoday conference, Danielle Scorrano and Jamie Williamson cohosted the first LEAD on READ interview in front of a live audience with Cheryl Cook . Cheryl is the founding executive director of the Association of LD Schools (ALDS), a formal community for schools that educate students with learning differences like dyslexia.
