NASSAU
We took a 15 minute cab ride from the Atlantis to downtown Nassau. We had a great 1/2 day checking out Straw Market and the port shops.

Nassau is the capital of the Bahamas. It lies on the island of New Providence, with neighboring Paradise Island accessible via Nassau Harbor bridges. A popular cruiseship stop, the city has a hilly landscape and is known for beaches as well as its offshore coral reefs, popular for diving and snorkeling. It retains many of its typical pastelcolored British colonial buildings, like the pinkhued Government House

PIG ISLAND
We got a private boat vs getting on one of the bigger over loaded boats that took us to one of the Pig Islands. There are several companies and a few different places to swim and feed the pigs.
We went with this company and had a great day. The cost wasn't that much more to have our own boat vs get on a bigger tour.
