How to disable #mirror folding feature in Audi Q3 (8U) if you for example want to protect the mirror mechanism in winter so it will not be damaged when electric motor wants to move the assembly while the mirror is covered with ice. If you have the comfort mirror #folding feature enabled, your mirrors would fold each time you look the car.

Turn the ignition on, the back off, open drivers door, and set the mirrors control knob to 6 o'clock position. From now on mirrors will not fold when locking the car.

ℹ Some software versions of RMC or MMI systems can have mirrors setting in central lock options. In this #AudiQ3 there was no option in the menu to control mirrors feature.
