It’s time for an electric car range test you didn’t realise you needed… Until today!

We’ve got the all new Audi RS etron GT going up against the Tesla Model S Long Range as they go headtohead in a race from Inverness in Scotland to central London a journey of almost 600 miles!

Now of course, neither car has enough range to complete the journey in one trip, so there will be stop offs involved and it's going to be ohso hard to guess how this one may play out!

The Model S Long Range has (in case the name didn't give it away...) superior range, with the ability to last 388 miles on a single charge, while the Audi only has a claimed range of 283 miles. However the Audi has the upper hand when it comes to charging, with the ability to charge at up to 270kWh… If the driver can find a fast enough charger!

So who’s your money on, the allnew etron GT, or the Model S? There’s only one way to find out which will be victorious… LET’S RACE!
