We took this Aussie WalkABout 2.0 charcoal grill with us camping but when we got to the forest the Rangers posted a sign that said no fires including charcoal grills. We were bummed! We picked this grill up at a hardware store because it was cheap, already assembled, and its name describes perfectly what it is; mobile. So after we got back it sat there for awhile on my back porch and I figured I might as well show you guys thing thing. And I'm glad I did! I do a fairly good Aussie walkabout grill review. The Aussie Walkabout is a easy grill to master and you will see that after we cook two beautiful New York strip steaks on it. We use our own grilled New York steak recipe with a simple salt and pepper rub (lightly). We don't think a good steak needs much else. While used Grill Grates which we found that the Weber 22 units fit perfectly inside the Aussie grill. Perfect! For heat I like Royal Oak Ridge charcoal briquettes and we lighted them with Royal Oak Tumble Weeds fire starter. Cheers!
