Australian Greens MP Max ChandlerMather rebuked the country’s parliament in a session on Wednesday for not recognising the state of Palestine and not imposing sanctions on Israel for its war on Gaza.

He criticised the Labor party for indefinitely suspending their senator Fatima Payman after she crossed the floor and voted with the Greens on the recognition of Palestine, which led to her resignation on Thursday.
