After a little trip to Vienna for the Night it was time to head back home to Heathrow. A320NEO OELZO doing the work on the return leg. Once onboard a punctual departure a few minutes ahead of time pushing back. However a very short taxi to RWY16 for take off. Shortly after take off a right turn over the City allowing for some beautiful views before turning west and gaining some altitude before crossing the Cezch Republic. By this time lunch & drinks were served. I chose to have the Thai Chicken Stir Fry with a curry sauce which was quite good actually. Accompanied by a glass of Orange Juice & Water of course! Nearing London, we began our decent over the south coast before turning onto the approach for 27R. With the classic “sight seeing” approach over central London. Look out for all the landmarks as we make our way in. A few low clouds around & few gusts of wind but nothing of any concern and we were on the ground and on stand at Terminal 2 with some 25 minutes ahead of schedule. Good going.
