Our good friend Alex Van Ness is here to share his viking kit that he uses for historical reenactment with us!! A reenactor’s “kit” consists of the clothing, armor, weapons and accessories that we wear and take to events and displays. All of the items included have been researched to the best of his abilities

This is his representation of a wealthy viking warrior from Gnezdovo based upon grave finds and he has worked over several years building and collecting all his gear. Most of the gear is hand made and the clothes are sewn by hand.
