We created this Microsoft Excel Utility for a Company engaged in Logistics Industry in India.

The problem faced by the Client:
Client had around 50 trucks. He manually maintained Due Date Details of documents like Insurance, Permit, and Road Tax. Further, he manually maintained Date Details of Repair & Maintenance Services like Mobil Oil, Hub Grease and other related services.
Due to Manual recording, user often missed renewing documents before due dates which lead to Heavy Fines from Transport Department.
Missing due dates of Repair & Maintenance Services lead to excess Repair & Maintenance Cost afterwards and reduced the Overall Life of Trucks.

How we solved the problem:
We created an MS Excel Utility in which users could record the due dates of all documents and Services for each Truck.
With just one click, user could see the Documents which will expire within next 10 days and Documents which have already expired (with separate colour coding for both).
For assigning this task to someone, user could also Email such Due Dates from Excel itself with click of a button.
