This quest has the second best shotgun in the game the Feral Hunter Shotgun 260, along with two mods that each have 25% Wildlife damage. The best shotgun in the game is the Gravedigger 280. Get this when you clear the Stone Processor Alpha in Shattered Bridge:

In order to complete Feral Hunter you need to be able to get into all three of the Access labs. Which means you need to complete The Deadly Hunt (Kinglor Forest) for Access Code C:

and a random Severed Bonds (Upper Plains). The random one should come up pretty early for you. You'll know it because Priya or Anqa will send you to the Stone Hold area. That will give you Access Code B.

Once you have Access Codes B and C, this quest will just say something like Keep Looking. Go complete Enemy of My Enemy:

That one will tell you to start looking southwest of Storage Depot Kilo.

The quest here is complete when you find:
Feral Hunter Shotgun (260 dmg)
Feral Hunter Muzzle Brake (laboratory C) 25% wildlife damage
Feral Hunter Magazine (laboratory B) 25% wildlife damage
