"Aveiro is a Portuguese city, located in the Centro Region, a subregion of the Aveiro Region, capital of the Aveiro district, with about 55,000 inhabitants.
It is the seat of a municipality with 78 450 inhabitants (2011) and an area of 197.58 km², subdivided into 10 parishes. It is an important urban, port, railway, university and tourist center."
