Our birds' aviary is finally done, so I thought I’d take you all on a little tour of my pigeons’ brand new home!

Very recently, I started fostering a group of king pigeons that were left out in Golden Gate Park, along with four other foster birds waiting for homes. They moved into the aviary to join a couple of pigeons that I adopted several years ago. Becoming a bird parent has been a weirdly fulfilling and everevolving responsibility. I can’t wait to get to know these new guys.
