It’s strawberry season in Japan! Japan is known for offering a variety of visually distinct strawberries. They are all so pretty, but I think my favorite so far are Awayuki strawberries.

These strawberries have a nuanced fragrance and pair beautifully with a homemade, vanilla whipped cream. Strawberries this pretty really deserve to be presented in a parfait!
