I've found these simple, yet versatile, heaters to be very useful. They are very easy to make once the electronics have been made. The fact that it can be shaped however you wish is great, because only you imagination is the limit.

The rectangular (blue) heating element performed very well. Running at only 500mA it was able to hold a temperature of 47°C. This means that with a 7.4V 2600mAh LiIon battery pack, the heater can be used for 5,2h (theoretically). In reality however, you will have around 3 hours of battery life, which is quite impressive.
