Approximately 70 Soldiers from the Alaska Army National Guard, B Co., 1207th Aviation returned home to Alaska at the Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport today after a oneyear deployment in support of Operation New Dawn in Iraq. While in Iraq, their mission entailed transporting highranking dignitaries throughout the theater of operations via UH60 Black Hawk helicopters. They logged about 4,000 hours of flying during the deployment.
