OH MY GOSH WE'RE FINALLY HERE! It's been a while, how are ya? :D

Sorry for the huge delay, I very much did not expect this to take so long to make! I get more into it down below but first!! The characters and story bits!! I've been wanting to share these guys for a while!!

So, here are the main players! Introducing Daniel the void scientist and his creation Xavier. Daniel's job is to look into void creature activity, see if he can prove their existence, and report his progress through his handydandy red phone.

Xavier is Daniel's first successful and thriving creation, successful only through the consumption of Daniel's finger during incubation. He's a curious creation who's limits are explored, reached, and eventually crossed by Daniel as he tries to learn about him, their conflict reaching it's breaking point when Daniel is told to eliminate his creation and Xavier fights back.

Now, head of the lab and taking Daniel's place to avoid suspicion, Xavier works to give his fellow trapped creatures their own successful forms. I sure hope he doesn't lose himself in trying to achieve this goal. (hint hint)

That's the bare bones explanation! I'm TOTALLY open to questions if there are any, I love talking about these guys

Also note that this video was made at 8fps, and will probably be the last 8fps animation ever as I'm switching to 10fps. One day I'll maybe make it to 12!

Ok so back to delay reasons. This was.. quite a process. This animation has been through like,, 3 total restarts (with only the scenes from 0:22 through 0:38 being kept since the beginning). I knew what story I wanted to tell, but I just, couldn't convey it in a satisfying way for a WHILE. All in all though, I'm pretty happy with this version! It's not especially my best work animationwise (no crazy camera angles or long sequences or anything), but I like the backgrounds and I think it's great at conveying the story, and that's all I really wanted!

Again, apologies for the long pause in uploads, I work like a snail lol. I appreciate you all so much for your patience during production, it means a lot to me! Next is the amv, which I think of as the direct continuation of Baby Hotline where we thoroughly explore Xavier and what he does next. Sketch is finished and I can assure you, THAT one will be a blast. Also I haven't forgotten about Bloom, that's still happening! Stay tuned, these next couple vids will be LOTS of fun!
