This is the companion piece to the Minuet in G minor from Anna Magdalena's Notebook. Both works have been attributed to Christian Petzold. I have never heard of him in any other context, but I would like to find more pieces by him like these two little gems.
This was played on the "back" 8' stop of our William Dowd 1967 Italian harpsichord. To hear the "front" 8', check out the Minuet in G minor.
