Scarlett and Rudy enjoying some social dancing at the El Grullense II before having some tacos. Among all of the body rolls, festivals, and superstar concerts, it's important to remind ourselves that bachata is ultimately a dance of the people. Danced in streets, markets, and yes, even restaurants, it's about sharing the joy of human connection, wherever we may find it, especially after a long, hard day. At nearly midnight, shortly before they closed, the restaurant workers delighted in a bit of dancing, and it was a pleasure to bring a few smiles to their faces. Delicious tacos are a plus :)
