We went back to where it all started and visited the University of California San Francisco, my trauma fellowship alma mater! We saw the Orthopaedic Institute (OI), Orthopaedic Trauma Institute (OTI) and the Institute of Global Orthopaedics and Traumatology and visited during their SMART course.

I also got the chance to meet up with some old friends and colleagues.
