Heyoo! My name is Jenna and welcome to my channel, I live on the beautiful Vancouver Island and I love to make vlogs like this overnight hiking trip I did to a beautiful glacier lake! I also love to make videos about travel, camping, outdoor adventures and anything else I feel would make a fun video. :)

In this vlog, some friends and I went hiking up in the forbidden plateau on Vancouver Island (Strathcona Provincial Park). This was such an amazing trip BESIDES THE BUGS! Yeah there were SOOO many bugs, but the views and the good times made it worth it. We hiked and swam in a glacier lake, found a canyon and some waterfalls, and had a wonderful two nights at the campgrounds. This video takes place on Vancouver Island, Canada in the part of Strathcona Provincial Park called The Forbidden Plateau (Paradise Meadows). We headed up after work on a Friday and hiked up to the Helen Mackenzie Campsites, The bugs were really bad here so we just stayed in our tents all night.
Saturday we hiked up to Kwai Lake where we dropped off our camping gear and then continued up to Circlet Lake. Circlet lake is a beautiful lake to swim in, with a pretty Mountain backdrop. After hanging out there for a while, we went back to our campsite for the night.
Sunday we woke up and headed to Cruikshank Canyon and found a nice waterfall on the way there. Highly recommend stopping there if you end up doing this hike. The thing I love the most about this hike is how there are a lot of loop trails, so we rarely had to walk back the same way we got there.
