Backpacking Shumard Canyon | Guadalupe Mountains National Park

This 9 mile hike to and through Shumard Canyon took me to the most remote campsite I have ever camped at. The wind, cactuses and cliffs made the hike extremely tough but very rewarding. I saw barbary sheep, an owl, and a lot of great views. I hope you enjoy the hike as much as I did!
