The Quehanna trail in Pennsylvania forms a loop through the Moshannon and Elk State Forests and is blazed in orange. The trail itself is pretty easy to follow but watch out; lots of overgrowth makes the trail narrow in sections. Many evasive species of plants can be found on the trail as well such as ferns and the dreaded stinging nettle. Offering beauty and solitude it is a great trail and I had a great time on it. Though I feel most of the sections are pretty easy, when the trail decides to take you up or down the trail becomes very steep. The scenery changes constantly and is rarely boring.
