Here is the rescue, rehab and release footage from one of the local nests that unfortunately broke apart this year. Local photographer AP Hovasse called us when he noticed the collapsed nest, and we were able to track them down with the help of a heat seeking camera, and our volunteer who cut away thick vegetation. The birds were far too young to leave the nest, and due to the nest tree being dead (and a heat wave) we were unable to reunite them with their parents. They grew fast and learned skills with us in our live trout pond enclosure.
