We bought a custom aluminum expedition sailboat overseas in Panama where we refit the boat to make her offshore ready for a massive shakedown sail. We will be sailing offshore from Panama to the United States where we will be living completely off the grid. While out in the middle of the Caribbean Sea, we ration our fresh water supply, sail our inner stay sail, code zero and learn to reef on our new to us sailboat. We encounter squalls, seasickness and rough sea conditions before finally getting some smooth sailing.
