Balsa USA 1/4 Scale Piper J3 Cub maiden flight. It took approximately 3 months to build. It has Solartex covering painted with Nelson Hobbies paint. The color is Lock Haven Yellow (Randolph 9521). This is the pre 1946 cub yellow. The engine is an O.S. Gemini 120 Twin with a Sullivan glow ignition system. The engine will hand start very easy when you don't have the throttle cut switch on.
