Hello and happy February! Today I’m taking a look at everyone’s favorite giant turtle; the friend of all children, Gamera! This is the older (2001) version of this figure with a closed mouth from Bandai as part of the Movie Monster Series representing Gamera as he appeared in 1999’s Gamera 3: Revenge of Iris. Hope you all like my review :)!

If you’re looking to pick this guy up for yourself he’s unfortunately become a rare find… secondhand sites like Ebay are probably best but you can find him on a handful of monster toy distributing sites as well albeit at a rather high asking price. I definitely recommend him if you’re in love with this version of the toy but be aware you’ll be paying the same as for a new SHMA figure even if you get lucky!
