Banjo Kazooie Hacking - So far...

This is NOT a Banjo's Backpack feature, but more of a layer trick with one of the options in Banjo's Backpack. Apparently setting up the waves without Alpha support, makes it into an A file, and when I make the texture fade, it creates strange texture issues.

I was going to make a holographic room, then one time I wanted to test a layer thing, then later wanted to try this (The first main part in the video).
It was originally planned to just have the first main part, then I wanted to go further and test out another idea.

I think I can confirm, that you CAN control layer order. But it depends on how you model in a 3D program. At least for me it did on Sketchup then the blender .dae import, then to .obj.

Doing what I did may NOT be easy for an average BK hacker.
This required some understanding and a lot of '3D thinking' or whatever fits with trying to think in 3D and your map ideas...

I do know though, objects in the setup are in some kind of layer between layer A and layer B?

The maps was all 'A' file.
Making these maps was a lot of work, and tries..
You need to be careful on how you make your maps in Sketchup.
Also for the ground fading outside the 'box' in the planet world (The first main part of the video), I had to manually do that or else the invisible wall effect will render those not right.

You may have noticed in the main second part that the sun didn't show up properly. I guess even A normal alpha shading required a certain order of making too. (I should of probably added the sun before the fake sky box)..

So yeah this idea can be hard for those.

This is not exactly the same as 'Portal'. Sorry!

Also, the music you hear isn't really inserted into the game. It's a video edit. Haha
