The AMSSM Medical Student Interest Group officers hosted an MSIG Webinar on Barbell Injuries on January 25, 2024.

Stacy Majoras, DO, ATC, and Robert Baker, MD, PhD, ATCm, served as speakers, and Carly Setterburg, BS (MSIG Immediate Past President) moderated the session.

The speakers discussed the techniques to avoid barbell injuries, common injuries using barbells, the recommended treatments for these injuries, and also shared how their clinical practice is positively impacted by being sports medicine physicians and certified athletic trainers.
