Day 5 Franklin to camp site at mile marker 43
(Miles = 12 / Total miles = 60)

Day five was amazing! So many gorgeous overlooks and mountains views, plus we made it to the random school bus. No clue how this bus got to the top of a mountain but of course it made me think of Into The Wild. Lots of slow and steady inclines today but nothing as intense as Jarrett Bald. Beautiful day, lots of energy, and we really enjoyed getting past the halfway point in the trip. Oh and an amazing campsite is at the mile marker 43 even had a picnic table.
