In my last video, I talked about the differences between Geographic and Projected Coordinate Systems. This video tutorial elaborates on how to project your data from GCS to PCS (Universal Transverse Mercator UTM). The resultant shapefiles were then used to calculate area in metric units, the perimeter of polygons, and the latitude & longitude of centroids of selected polygons.
